Satser på å få en visning klokken 23, som en slags midnattsvisning. Men må ha avklaring fra Oslo Kino om hvor lenge vi kan holde på der. Så jeg skal tilbakemelding når jeg har det i boks. Visninger klokken 21.00 blir det uansett.

Ja, vi har ikke helt bestemt oss hvordan vi skal gjøre det med billetter. Men vi satser på at det skal være mulig å kjøpe billetter på forhånd.

Vi setter i gang siste visninger på fredag klokken 21.00. Grunnet til at vi ikke har senere visninger er fordi det er et diskotek som er nabo og de setter igang høy musikk klokken 23, og ifølge de på Vika Kino kan det ødelegge filmopplevelsen.

En av filmene som skal vises 21.00 på fredag er stumfilmkonserten med Atilla. Som jeg ser på som en av høydepunktene.

Army of Darkness is the movie you can see a hundred times and never get tired of. And this is even the alternate version that we are bringing to the big screen. But the isolation brings him away from his own psyche and what is real and what is just his own imagination becomes unclear. Be sure to check this highly original psychological thriller out. It just might drive you mad.

The eerie music of Void ov Voices will make your spine chill and as the soundtrack for this movie it sure will creep you out. You may have seen this movie before as it is regarded as one of the first horror movies ever made. But you have not seen it like this way before as this is one unique happening that will only find place at Oslo Fright Fest.

From Australia we got this nice little thriller in the same vein as something between what the Coen brothers and Hitchcock would have come up with. We follow a greasy bar owner that rents an assassin to kill a man over some unpaid business. He’s plan backfires when it turns out that he has been set up. Be sure to check this one out as it may surprise you, with it’s dark atmosphere and beautiful cinematography.

For when a bunch of people goes to the countryside for a nice weekend we all know that the colorful people that lives in small villages just going to ruin it all. Because they sure hates those city slickers. Gorehounds, rejoice! This is one gory body count flick.

So as with his paintings, this is one good looking movie to watch. The story unfolds in the seventies where the young and pretty Stella starts at a drama school where they got some unusually methods to make any actor shine. But for some reason people ends up dead as it turns out that the school has some dark secrets.

This just might be one of the coolest movies of the year. Of course; with a cast of Traci Lords, John Waters, Malcolm McDowell, Ray Wise and AnnaLynne McCord is not really necessarily to write any more. But I'm gonna do it anyway. For this is one deliciously macabre black comedy horror movie about a greasy, acne-ridden teenager with bizarre sexual fantasies. Excision is as intelligent as it is disturbing, with scripted dialogue as deep as the Mariana Trench. Excision is a film that was built to be a cult classic.

Oslo Fright Fest postponed
It is with big sadness that we have to announce that Oslo Fright Fest has been postponed. We are very sorry and the reason behind this is that we need the dispensation to show the movies that haven't been through the Norwegian censorship. And we can't get that in time for the weekend.

We hope you all will bare with us and show us the understanding we need right now. We surely want to show all understanding for those people who been looking forward to the festival, to those who as taken the time off, to those who have booked hotels and arrange with traveling, for we feel really bad about this. And to all the filmmakers, partners and guests that was so looking forward to be a part of Oslo Fright Fest we deeply apologize for this.

Oslo Fright Fest is not canceled and will be held in a near future. Most things are ready and we are really looking forward to make the second edition of Oslo Fright Fest. So we hope you all will still be with us when Oslo Fright Fest hits Norway hard in a month or two. The spirit is still strong even that this has been a hard day for us at Oslo Fright Fest.
